MIO: Memories in Orbit is out now on Consoles & PC

After a breathtaking trailer, Focus Entertainment and Douze Dixièmes are thrilled to announce that MIO: Memories in Orbit is now available worldwide on PC and consoles. Players can experience the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. It’s also available day one on Xbox Game Pass and fully playable on Steam Deck.

Cast Light into an Obscured Past

Players will finally uncover the secrets of the Vessel, a vast derelict spaceship adrift in the void. As MIO, a nimble android awakening alone in its labyrinthine depths, you’ll explore lush corridors overrun by vegetation, face malfunctioning machines, and piece together fragments of a forgotten vestige. Every frame is designed to immerse players in an atmosphere that is as beautiful as it is unsettling - but beauty here is never safe. Every corner hides a mystery, and every discovery unlocks new powers. Exploration, danger, and countless secrets await.

MIO: Memories in Orbit is more than a beautiful journey. It is also an ever-growing challenge. Its gameplay blends precise platforming and dynamic combat, inviting players to adapt, experiment, and master an evolutive arsenal of abilities and modifiers. The Vessel is full of threats and dreadful creatures, perfect for creating epic battles and truly choreographed performances. From Vision to Vessel: The Studio Behind MIO

Developed by Douze Dixièmes, the studio behind the acclaimed Shady Part of Me, MIO reflects their artisanal approach to game creation. “We wanted to create an experience that brings together everything we love: a genre we’re passionate about with challenging mechanics, a mysterious sci-fi world, and a strong visual identity made possible by our own custom engine.” says Sarah Hourcade, Co-founder of Douze Dixièmes and Producer on MIO: Memories in Orbit. “After five years of hard work, the whole team can’t wait to see MIO come to life through the eyes of players.” 

Echoes of the Vessel

MIO’s striking art direction, inspired by graphic novels, classic sci-fi, painting, anime, and comics, is powerfully supported by an equally breathtaking soundtrack. Composed by Nicolas Gueguen, this 75-track album blends ambient melodies, layered synths, and live-recorded choir voices to capture the haunting atmosphere of the Vessel. The game’s OST will be available on all major platforms — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Bandcamp, and more — starting January 20. Listen to the OST here. 

MIO: Memories In Orbit is listed at the price of $19,99 / 19,99€, with a 10% discount available on all platforms (on PS5, the discount is reserved for PS Plus subscribers). All owners of the Nintendo Switch 1 version will be able to get the Nintendo Switch 2 version for FREE.
