Curse of the Dead Gods continues its Early Access with first major update

Passtech Games and Focus Home Interactive are pleased to release the first major free content update for Early Access rogue-lite Curse of the Dead Gods. After a successful launch with positive reviews from players and press alike, players can embark on new challenges imbued with fresh curses, weapons, relics and modifiers added in the Cursed Temple update, presented in today’s trailer

Eternal Curse modes add more replayability and deadly new challenges

Joining prior updates to room variety and weapons, the Cursed Temple update brings new ways to play with the debut of Eternal Curse modes, a series of thematic challenges with special modifiers. Benefit from a constant speed increase, take less damage in the shadows or play with a retro display - but beware of side effects! The update spices things up even further by doubling the number of curses. All of this is in addition to a wealth of new features, fixes and balance changes - read the patch notes here.

Committed to frequent, meaningful updates

Today’s Cursed Temple update marks a continuation of Passtech Games’ commitment to free content updates, as it joins over five content patches released within two months. More major updates are planned for the near future, including the arrival of the Temple of the Snake and its poisonous halls, filled with new mechanics, weapons and adversaries.

Curse of the Dead Gods is available in Steam Early Access on PC, coming later to consoles. The Cursed Temple update is available now as a free update.
